CENTRAL AMERICA INVESTMENT CONFERENCEThe Property Investors Association will have its Conference on June 3rd and June 4th, 2008 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The seminar will be a high level, two day educational event to illustrate to the US investor on how to tap the Central American market. The conference will include experts from various areas: an independent advisor for USAID and The World Bank to the Central American representative of The Economist Magazine, as well as title companies, local and international financial institutions, lawyers, financial planners, and many others. During the second day, the participants will also enjoy the opportunity to meet one-on-one with Realtors, developers, banks, attorneys etc.

ATTENTION: BROKERS AND MANAGERSIMPORTANT MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
The National Association of REALTORSﾮ requires that all new members provide the local association with a HOME ADDRESS, EMAIL ADDRESS AND PREFERRED PHONE NUMBER. If this information is not given, NAR does not accept the membership. Please make certain that all new Associates provide this information to you so that it can be made available to the Association on the Membership Application. The Association does not have the authority to override this requirement, so missing information will result in membership applications being rejected by NAR.
Also, beginning July 1st, NAR will require that all existing members provide a HOME ADDRESS, EMAIL ADDRESS AND PREFERRED PHONE NUMBER. Most of our members have done this, but we more than likely have some blank home address fields. We would discourage using the office address as the home address, as the broker would be receiving all of the mail, invoices, etc. There is never any guarantee that Realtors receive their mail when its not sent to them directly. Its important that we are able to communicate with our members for many reasons. WE DO NOT PROVIDE THIS INFORMATION TO ANYONE.

BROKERS & OFFICE MANAGERSDBPR has notified FAR that New Licensees cannot apply for membership in a local Realtor Organization or operate as a real estate licensee until they have received their license. DBPR further advised that there are no exceptions and that questions should be referred to the DBPR Call Center.
